2. Early Cancellations (48+ Hours Notice)
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund of any prepaid amount. To be eligible:
- The cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email to contact@khaleeji.online or via WhatsApp to our team.
- A confirmation of cancellation must be received from Khaleeji for the refund to be processed.
- Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
3. Late Cancellations (24 – 48 Hours Notice)
Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% of the prepaid amount will be refunded within 7–14 business days.
We encourage clients to plan ahead. If exceptional circumstances arise (medical emergency, natural disaster, etc.), please contact our team — we review such cases with compassion on a case-by-case basis.
4. Last-Minute Cancellations (Under 24 Hours)
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable. The full reservation amount will be charged.
This policy exists because last-minute cancellations prevent us from offering the vehicle to other clients. We appreciate your understanding.
5. No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when the renter fails to collect the vehicle at the agreed pickup time and location without prior cancellation notice. In such cases:
- The full reservation amount is forfeited and no refund will be issued.
- The security deposit will be returned within 7 business days, provided no additional costs were incurred.
- Khaleeji reserves the right to charge for any waiting or administrative fees associated with the no-show.
6. Vehicle Modifications & Date Changes
Requests to modify reservation dates, vehicle selection, or pickup/return location must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to vehicle availability and possible rate adjustments. Modifications are not guaranteed and are confirmed only upon written approval from Khaleeji.
7. Early Vehicle Return
If you return the vehicle earlier than the agreed return date:
- Refunds for unused rental days are not automatically issued.
- Early return refunds may be considered at Khaleeji's sole discretion and must be requested in advance.
- Please contact our team prior to returning the vehicle early to discuss available options.
8. Security Deposit Returns
The security deposit is separate from the rental amount and is subject to the following:
- The deposit is fully refunded within 3–7 business days of vehicle return, provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition as received with no additional damage, no outstanding fines, and no excess mileage charges.
- Any deductions from the deposit will be itemised and communicated to the renter in writing.
- Disputes regarding deposit deductions must be raised within 5 business days of receiving the deduction notice.
9. Refund Processing Times
All approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Credit/Debit Card payments: 7–14 business days (depending on your bank).
- Bank transfer payments: 5–10 business days.
- Processing times may vary due to bank policies and public holidays. Khaleeji is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of exceptional circumstances beyond Khaleeji's control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated restrictions, pandemics, or severe weather events — we reserve the right to cancel reservations with a full refund or offer alternative dates without penalty to either party.
